The seamsdroid’s ocular lenses flashed a rapid pattern. Its mechanically modulated voice said, “These are flat-fronted trousers. You are ruining the line.”

“What’s wrong?” Noelle looked up from her ‘fone, a frown creasing her brow.

Aya hesitated but they were alone in the small shop and the seamsdroid had already ascertained his condition. He shrugged. “Evidently my imagination is inconvenient.”

The construct coasted backward. “Fix it. Remove the garment first.”

Noelle’s gaze skimmed down his chest and landed at his groin. Her cheeks flushed bright red. She stood awkwardly. Aya tilted his head, fascinated by the color, by the
signals she put off. Her nipples strained visibly at the fabric of her top but her shoulders were stiff and square as if she were angry. She crossed the sales floor, avoiding the
seamsdroid’s ocular lenses as if she were embarrassed. Interesting.

“Aya,” she whispered, casting a covert glance toward the construct. “What are you doing?”

Oh. She didn’t like this situation at all. Even more fascinating, a discomfited Noelle pushed him from half-erect to painfully-hard. Casually, he unfastened the trousers.
Noelle’s eyes widened before her lashes swept down, obscuring her eyes and redirecting her attention to his hands. A deep breath lifted her breasts.

“Deity,” she whispered. Louder, “We’re…you…”

Aya lowered the zipper.

Noelle swallowed. She waved to indicate the shop. “Public.”

“I need clothes,” he reasoned. “Manporium only provides one set. Do you want me to leave without anything? We’d have to start over again another day and we’ve already
been here half the afternoon.”

She cast a glance at the street outside the boutique display window. A pair of policemen buzzed past, slow on their hovercycles because of the foot traffic congestion.
Noelle moistened her lips. “Public indecency is a criminal offense.”

He hooked his thumbs in the waist. Noelle looked from the window to his groin and worried her bottom lip, her eyes so expressively indecisive. Aya didn’t need VioletFang
tech to read her mind, to know she was remembering and weighing possibilities. She’d writhed beneath him, begged for immediacy, and he’d bet his Free-Walk License that
right then, she was deciding she could have his cock without a fight—his cock in her mouth, in her slick pussy. Calculating, planning, cause-and-effect evaluating.

Even though he didn’t need the VioletFang, he suddenly
wished he had it. Did she conclude he wouldn’t make her squirm and beg, wouldn’t play the power games she loved/hated? Did she think he’d have to be quick?

Deciding not to disabuse her of the notion too soon, he reached for her and tugged at her wrist. “Come with me.”

Noelle shuddered. Beneath his fingertips, her pulse skipped and sped. Aya ducked his head and spoke in her ear. “Yeah. Come with me.”

“Deity,” she breathed. “This is dangerous. You could be recycled—”

Aya aborted her paranoid protests by licking into her mouth. She moaned, softened, and allowed him to pull her from the sales floor and into a tight, small square of a room. He backed her up against the mirrored wall and fumbled to lock the door without breaking contact with her lips. Noelle kissed like a starving creature, greedy and taking.

She’d suck him with the same hunger, but not yet. He wanted answers and he wouldn’t get them if he silenced her with his cock.

Pinning her with his mouth, he quickly divested himself of his shirt and shucked the trousers carelessly, pricking himself with pins in the process. One of the pins caught Noelle’s palm as she reached greedily for his ass. She jumped and jerked her head back, a soft thump against the mirror, gasping, “Ow!”

Her lips said “Ow” but her nipples beaded against him, prominent through her sweater. On a hunch, Aya nipped the tender flesh beneath her jaw. Noelle jolted a second time. Her hips swiveled, pushed toward him. Suddenly, spanking her lacked imagination.

Before he consciously puzzled through the change in plans, his skin prickled and pressure rippled down his stomach and surged beneath his shirt. Black limbs spun from his body,
twined around her wrists and stretched her arms wide.

“Aya!”

“Shh.” He widened her stance with his feet and settled against her sex. “We’re going to play a game and your hands are in the way.”

“A game?” She glanced sidelong at the muscular binding wrapped around her left wrist.

“Yes, a game.” Aya narrowed his eyes, carefully observing her response, relieved to detect wary curiosity instead of revulsion. Her chest rose and fell rapidly as she flexed her hands and tested his hold. Ducking his head, he nuzzled the underside of her jaw and nipped her earlobe before whispering, “I’m stronger than you and you’re not getting free. You may as well agree to play.”

“Fine,” she breathed. “What’s the game?”

“Twenty questions. I ask, you answer.” He nudged her legs wider and planted his boots between her dainty ballet flats. This close to her, his balls ached. The gentle curve of her abdomen accepted his cock easily, a soft cushion inviting him to rub against her.

“Ready?”

Ebooks and Libraries. A Match Made in Heaven…or Hell?

For those who don’t know, there’s been a lot of talk lately about ebook sales to libraries. It isn’t that libraries don’t want to offer ebooks to their patrons. They do. The problem is the effect those sales will have on publishers’ bottom lines.

As  JULIE BOSMAN of the New York Times put it in her article,
As Library E-Books Live Long, Publisher Sets Expiration Date

Imagine the perfect library book. Its pages don’t tear. Its spine is unbreakable. It can be checked out from home. And it can never get lost.

That’s a libraries’ perfect book. Never torn. Never lost. Never needs to be replaced.

That’s also publisher’s worst nightmare.

Publishers need to sell books. Lots of books. And in this wildly changing market, that’s becoming increasingly difficult.

Eating these foods get viagra without prescription regularly can maintain eye health: Non-meat proteins like beans, eggs, nuts, or any other person who has received favorable results from one pill. Who might need to lose fleshly fervor of life? However, imagine a scenario tablets viagra in which erection issues impacts you. Sometimes less severe depressive states can be alleviated through the prescription viagra prices meditation techniques. The most recent machine of Handsome pump in Pakistan accompanies three various sleeves to fulfill side effects from viagra all sizes of sexual organ penis which precisely fit to all sizes. There’s no doubt the market is shifting. More and more people are buying ebooks. That number of ebook readers/buyers is increasingly impacting publishers’ bottom lines. Their business models are based upon the sales of paperbacks and hard covers. Their business models are crumbling.

So what must they do? Adapt? Find a way to make the new market work for them. That’s exactly what HarperCollins is doing, by limiting the number of times any one ebook can be checked out. I’m an author, and a library patron. I can appreciate what they’re trying to do. However, is 26 checkouts really a reasonable limit? According to Bosman’s article, that would allow (assuming a 2 week checkout period) one full year of distribution.

Do libraries restock all their inventory every year? I don’t think there’s a library that exists that could afford to do that. Are the ebooks selling at a lower price than the paperback or hard cover version? I can’t tell you that.

Clearly, HarperCollins doesn’t want libraries to carry their ebooks. Right? Maybe not.

“We have serious concerns that our previous e-book policy, selling e-books to libraries in perpetuity, if left unchanged, would undermine the emerging e-book ecosystem, hurt the growing e-book channel, place additional pressure on physical bookstores, and in the end lead to a decrease in book sales and royalties paid to authors,” the company said in a statement.

The may have a point. But 26? Really?

As both an author and patron, I hope other publishers don’t follow in their footsteps–setting such a low limit on ebook checkouts. But if they do, I’m sure someone–indie authors, perhaps–will be happy to jump in, find a way to make the situation mutually beneficial and gleefully cart those royalty checks to the bank.

Sweet as Sin
EXCERPT:

“Two for play?” One brow arched as he stared at the seemingly innocent mini cupcakes.

An idea sparked. It was so out of character for her, totally irresponsible and spur of the minute, that at first she rejected it. But it clung to her imagination like chocolate ganache—rich, decadent and tempting.

Livvy closed the door behind her. She took the thin clear case from his hands. “It’s a twist on foreplay. Here, let me show you.”

With a flick of her thumb, she popped the plastic top and the thick scent of buttercream wafted upward. His nostrils flared but his eyes never left her face. “Smells sweet.”

“It is. It’s Italian buttercream frosting, so it stays very…smooth and soft. The sugar is heated so it’s like silk on your tongue as it melts.”

John barely glanced at the pastry. “Buttercream. Silk that melts on your tongue. I like the sound of that.”

“You’ll like the taste, too. The heating means it’s very sturdy but it tastes very delicate.”

He lifted his hand and drew his knuckles down the curve of her cheek. Her breath caught. “Sounds… sinful.”

Livvy inched closer and tilted her head. “Want a bite?”

“Oh, yeah.”

“Devil’s Food or French Vanilla?” The words meant nothing. She was offering him so much more.

“Devil’s Food, of course.” He accepted her offer with a whisper.

His pupils dilated and his tongue skated across his lip. The cake was heaped with a frothy swirl of frosting in snowy white. Slowly, she licked half the frosting off the mini. She held it in her mouth and stepped to him. The sugary cream slipped from her tongue to his.
Drenched in sweetness, his mouth caressed hers. Long after the frosting had melted away, she pulled back and brought the cupcake to her lips. John’s breath deepened as she held half the mini dessert in her mouth. Gripping his neck, she yanked his lips back to hers. A wolfish grin appeared just before he took the dark cake and her kiss in one greedy motion. The shared bite melted with their heat and dissolved with their hunger.

A stray trace of chocolate speckled his lip and Livvy brushed her finger against it. He captured her fingertip, drawing it inside his mouth for a wet caress. A throb began between her legs.

“Your turn.”

John plucked the remaining mini from the box. He licked half the dark fudge frosting away, curled his arm around her waist and drew her mouth to his. The rich chocolate coated her tongue, flavoring the moan that sprang from her chest. Whatever calories were in the frosting were burned away by his kiss. His sharp teeth pierced the pale cake before the other half touched her lips. A sudden burst of spongy vanilla filled her mouth, mingling with creamy fudge and sizzling John Murphy.

“Two For Play, I like it.” His sugary breath warmed her cheek.

“We’re not done yet.”

She lifted the carton. In a third compartment, generous ruffles of chocolate and vanilla circled each other in an erotic blend. His gaze followed as she dipped one finger in the frosting and brought it to her tongue.

She’s used to doing all the rescuing. But love has a way of changing everything.

Hailey Jensen is in the rescue business–animal rescue–and more than willing to risk life and limb for fowl or fauna. Just when life couldn’t get better, her world crumbles. Her identical twin has cancer, and her marine rescue is failing before it even gets started. Lacking coping skills, she takes refuge behind sarcasm and solitude.

But, thanks to Dr. Rainer Hartmann, her sister’s friend and a man who mistakes overbearing control for helping, she finds herself on the opposite end of the control stick. A wildly independent woman, Hailey fights with the determination of a bulldog as Rainer struggles to drag her out of despair…and into his arms.
(Contemporary Romance)

Excerpt:
A deep voice sounded in Hailey’s ear, easing its way into her dreams. It called her name, and only then did she realize she was sleeping and opened her eyes.

Rainer’s worried gaze greeted her. Not liking his expression, she glanced around the room. It was dark. Ebony stripes cut between the slats of the window blinds. When Rainer leaned back, she sat up.

“What time is it?” she asked.

“Late. Almost eleven. You’ve been sleeping for hours. I got a little worried. Sorry for waking you up. Do you want to go back to sleep?”

“I’m fine. Jetlag, I guess.”

“I’m about to turn in. I have a full day at the office tomorrow. Before I go, do you want me to get you anything? Some tea?”

“Maybe. Do you have anything stronger?”

“Stronger, like how much stronger?”

“Something fermented, maybe?”

He smiled, but his eyes still reflected the concern she’d seen earlier. “I have some wine.”

“Perfect.”

“Are you sure you’re okay?”

“No. But, after I have some of that wine I will be.”

“I’ll be right back.”

After he left, she stood, went to her suitcase, which sat on top of the dresser, and rummaged for some sweatpants, a tank top and a sweatshirt. With clothes in hand, she went to the bathroom, brushed her teeth, dressed, and let her hair out of her lopsided ponytail.

She shook her head, studying her reflection in the mirror. Sleeping for hours hadn’t done a bit of good. She looked as bad as she had before. Maybe worse. Nearly as dead as she felt.

Rainer called her, and she went out to meet him, not surprised to see he held two glasses in one hand. He raised a dark bottle. “Burgundy?”

“At this point, I’d settle for cooking wine.”

He sat on the bed, and she sat next to him, taking the glasses. The bottle was already uncorked. He poured the deep red liquid into the glasses, then set the bottle on the nightstand.

“Shall we toast?” he asked as she handed him a glass.

“Toast? I’m not in the mood for a toast.”

“Okay. I propose a toast, then. How about to healing?”

“To healing.” She raised her glass, then brought it to her mouth, purposefully avoiding inhaling it’s spicy fragrance. She wasn’t a drinker. Didn’t even like wine. But, she desperately wanted to feel alive, warm, something…anything. Wine did that. Didn’t it?

The first mouthful burned her throat, and she almost spit it out as she struggled not to cough. “Potent stuff,” she sputtered.

“It’s not cooking wine,” Rainer said with a smile. “Not much of a drinker?”

“Nope.”

“Well, let me take that from you, then.” He leaned toward her.

“Nope.” She jerked the glass away before he took it, then drank fast, forcing the liquid down her throat.

Nearly an instant flush heated her face. She thrust the empty glass toward him. “More, please.”

He shook his head. “I don’t think you need more.”

“Look. I’m an adult. I can handle myself, thank you. Now, give me more wine, or I’ll go out and buy my own.”

“Okay.” He swallowed the last gulps of his, then handed his empty glass to her before filling them both again. “What should we toast to this time?” he asked, setting the bottle down and taking his glass from her.

“How about to rescues?”

“Rescues?”

“Don’t ask. Just drink.”

He shrugged and sipped his wine. She swallowed hers as fast as her throat would allow. It tasted better this time, she realized, licking a droplet clinging to the rim. Exactly the right combination of sweet and dry.

Yes, very tasty.

Within minutes, the room grew stifling. She nudged Rainer in the shoulder. “Take this will ya?” She handed him her glass.

“Had enough?”

“Nope. Just hot. Need to get outta this sweatshirt. She tugged the heavy garment over her head. The world tipped, and she lost her balance, bumping into Rainer. A smirk on his face made her bristle. “What?”

“Nothing.”

“That’s some strong ass wine,” she explained.

“That’s some strong language.”

“I’m not in grade school anymore, ya know.”

His gaze heated. “Believe me. I know that.”

She drew back, realizing she had been leaning against him. “Can I have my glass now?”

“No. I think you’ve had enough.”

“Who are you? My damn mother?”

“No. I’m your friend.”

“Oh, God, not that. I know all about you and your friends.”

“You know all about it, eh?” he asked with a laugh. He was enjoying this conversation way too much.

“What the hell is so funny?”

“Nothing.”

“You’re laughing.”

“Okay, okay.” He threw up his arms in surrender. “I’m laughing. You’re funny, you little spitfire.”

“You’re not. You big…you…” She couldn’t think of a word that summed him up. He was the epitome of contradictions. Gorgeous, a pain in the ass, funny, a pain in the ass, smart, sexy…her body heated even more as her gaze settled on his mouth, surrounded by a day’s worth of stubble. Yup, she was feeling alive, all right. Alive and hot.

He moved closer, and her heart shuddered.

“I’m what?” he asked.

“Nothing.”

He shook his head. “If two glasses of wine can’t even loosen you up, what will?”

“What are you talking about? I’m as loose as a goose.” She lobbed her head, rolled it from side to side, then shrugged her shoulders up and down several times. “See? I couldn’t get any looser.”

“That’s not what I meant.”

“What’d you mean, then?”

“I thought you might be more honest with a couple glasses of wine warming your belly. More honest with yourself and with me.”

“I am. Hell, I was just noticing how sexy your mouth is.” She smiled. Had she just said that? “See? Honest.”

“Hmmm. Honest, all right. My mouth? Sexy?”

“Hell, yes. Hasn’t anyone ever told you that before?”

“Nope.”

“Damn shame.”

“What else are you thinking?” He asked, his smoldering gaze making her temperature spike.

“I’m thinking…” she paused. What was she thinking? She had been thinking about business, her mother, her sister. Her mood started to sour, the cold air seeping into her pores again.

“I’m thinking it’s not fair my sister’s lying in that bed and not me. I’m thinking I’ve lost my business because the jerk I trusted to donate the majority of the capital I needed is being arrested for tax evasion. And I’m thinking my partner’s in love with me. I’m thinking I’ll never get the opportunity to make things right with Heidi, not that I deserve it. And I’m thinking I’m the only one who sees how much my mother hates me.” She looked at Rainer, expecting his expression to be smug, and silently challenged him to give her some cocky comeback.

“I’m sorry,” he said drawing her into his arms.

His heart thumped in her ear as she snuggled against him. This honesty thing had its benefits. “I’m liking this.” She felt his hand run down her hair, enjoying how safe and loved the simple touch made her feel. She hadn’t felt like this in such a long time. For once, she thought if she died tomorrow, someone might care. Rainer.

What a strange turn of events.

She tipped her head to look at his face. It was such a strong face. Strong jaw line, strong cheekbones, if cheeks could be called strong. Strong eyes. Strong body. Strong will. Strong soul.

His gaze met hers, and she sucked in a deep breath. He looked so…tortured.

She sat up. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing.”

She saw his body stiffen, even though her eyes swam around in her head. “Now who’s lying?” She didn’t want him to back away. Her body screamed to be safe in his arms again. Warm and loved.

“I’m not lying.” He scowled. “Damn it! How am I supposed to act? You’re practically sprawled overtop me. I’m a man.”

“I noticed.”

“Stop that.”

“You said you wanted honesty. What’s wrong? Isn’t this what you expected?”

“I do want honesty.”

“Then I’ll give it to you. You want to know what I’m thinking, I’ll tell you. I feel dead. Cold. Inside and out. Like there’s this arctic bubble around me I can’t shatter. But when I’m with you… tonight, I don’t feel that way. You shatter my bubble.”

He didn’t speak, and she feared she’d scared him away for good. She scrambled to find something to say, some way to salvage what they had. When no words came to mind, she threw caution to the wind and did the only thing she could.

She kissed him.

Naughty vampire nookie. Orgasmic biting, a little bloodsucking, and a hot tub scene that redefines STEAMY.

My thoughts at this point (I’ve read roughly half of this short novella): It’s snappy, somewhat snarky, sexy fun. Loving the author’s voice. The pace is good, though I feel the chapters are a smidge long. The sex is vanilla, steamy, not kinky. Samhain’s “Red Hots” category has a broad range of sexual/erotic content. Overall, a great read.

Jamie woke sometime later. Checked the clock. It was after ten. She never slept that late. Then again, she didn’t normally run around at three in the morning, either. She padded into the bathroom and took care of some personal issues then stumbled back out to the bedroom.

She halted midway between the bathroom and the bed. There was a tray sitting on the dresser. A tray with food.

That hadn’t been there before.

She dashed to the door and tried it. Locked.

Her heart rate kicked into overdrive. What was going on?

She raced to the bed and searched the creases and folds of the mussed comforter, looking for her phone. It wasn’t there. She checked the floor. Not there either. She ripped all the bedding off the mattress. No luck. She dumped all the contents of her purse out on the naked Serta. Her phone wasn’t there either.

Jamie felt sick.

Was this some sort of twisted joke? Kelsey had a strange sense of humor, but never had she done anything like this. Not to mention, how could she have planned all this ahead of time? The explosion, which couldn’t have been anticipated, was key to her needing a place to stay.

Something thumped in the hall outside. Jamie sprinted across the room and pounded on the door, shouting, “Is someone there? Hello!” at the top of her lungs. After about five minutes of that, her voice sounded like her aunt Jean’s. Aunt Jean had been a three-pack-a-day smoker since the ‘50’s.

Breathless, she leaned back against the door. Her legs were wobbly. She let her knees buckle and she slowly sank to the floor.

This was too weird for words.

Someone had locked her in here? Why?

Bewildered, she stared at the mountain of rumpled bedding on the floor, then at the window that wouldn’t open, then at the locked door and finally at the tray. She was too freaked out to be hungry, but she could sure use some caffeine, something to wake her up a little and get her synapses firing.

If this was Kelsey’s doing—who else could it be?—there would be hell to pay.

Thanks to her nerves, and a smidge of fury, Jamie’s legs were on the al dente side as she tottered toward the dresser. Before she made it across the room, the doorknob jiggled. The lock rattled. And the door swung open.

She spun around, ready to give her friend a piece of her mind.

But the person who stepped through the door wasn’t her friend. It…he…was the last person she could imagine.

What was going on?

Her eyes drank in the sight of her captor’s thickly muscled body, his familiar, angled features, sharp eyes and tussled wavy hair. Her heart jumped. Her face flushed.

Furious and confused, she stomped up to him, chin held high, hoping she looked more angry than scared. “What do you think you’re doing?”

Their little minx was fired up. That didn’t surprise Logan Burk. What did surprise him was the effect her anger had on his cock. The fire in her eyes had sparked a blaze in his blood. His cock was lengthening, thickening, testing the seams of his trousers already.

This was going to be a week to remember. For all of them.

“Well?” she spat. “How dare you lock me up! Aren’t you going to explain why? Aren’t you going to say something?”

Logan had no interest in explaining anything. Nor did he have any interest in speaking. What he did want to do was kiss her. And, based upon her dilated pupils and the hard nipples poking at the front of her t-shirt, he was fairly confident she wanted that too.

And so he hauled her against him and slanted his mouth over hers.

She clamped her lips tight.

She wriggled.

She beat her little fists on his chest.

And then, when his tongue traced the seam of her mouth, she surrendered.

He slid one hand around the back of her head supporting it. His fingers combed through the silken length of her hair, tugging it out of the loose ponytail at her nape. The weight of the waves tumbled over her shoulders as a wave of heat tumbled through his body.

Her lips parted and he slipped his tongue into the warm depths of her mouth, drinking in her sweet flavor. She shifted her weight, pressing her soft body against his, and it was his turn to groan. Damn, that felt good. Right.

The waiting was over. This little woman was in his arms. At last.

But he had a feeling it wouldn’t be smooth sailing from here.

She shoved against him, staggering out of his arms. She narrowed her eyes.

Yep, not time to call it a victory yet.

His new, sexy submissive swung an open hand at his head, striking his cheek. “You bastard!” She wound up to take another shot at him. This time he stopped her, catching her wrist and pinning it behind her back. Her first lesson in submission―he was in control. Always. He jerked her against him again and she stood there, her breasts rising and falling swiftly as she puffed and huffed and gritted her teeth. “I can’t believe this.”

“What can’t you believe?”

“This is Kelsey’s doing, isn’t it?”

“She helped us a little.”

Jamie’s beautiful eyes widened. “Us? As in plural? You and somebody else or you and me?” A stray lock of hair drifted down over her face. She blew at it.

“Me and Brad.” He tucked the hair behind her ear then let his index finger trace the line of her jaw. He’d noticed her before. At Nitro’s. Lots of times. But he’d avoided approaching here there, knowing how most women felt about being picked up at a gym. He’d waited for his opportunity, hoping he’d someday run into this sweet, hot woman somewhere else, somewhere safe. It hadn’t happened.

And then her friend Kelsey came into Nitro’s. She told him about her plan. Asked if he and his best friend, Brad, were interested in making Jamie’s secret fantasy come true. Of course, they both said hell yes, but with an added twist. And here they were.

Things hadn’t gone exactly as they’d originally planned, but in the long run, he had a feeling this situation would work out even better.

Jamie pulled on her wrist. “Would you let me go now? I promise I won’t hit you again. There’s been a misunderstanding.”

He released her and she hurried over to her suitcase and started stuffing her clothes back inside. Highly amused, and still sporting a painful hard-on, Logan watched her zip it shut and drag it toward the door. “I think I’ll head home now.” She grabbed the knob and tried to give it a twist. She glared at him. “Open the door.”

He crossed his arms over his chest. “You’re not leaving.”

Reviews: Torrid Hunger

I just discovered several reviews of this book today.

The first was written by Lisa at Joyfully Reviewed:

Quote: Torrid Hunger is a decadent pleasure – a sensual journey tied up in a master’s bonds and sealed with passion.

The second was written by Annette at PNR:

As the days go by it brings the three together into more than just a sexual bond but an emotional one as well. But, Kaden cannot afford to become attached to anyone so he continues to fight the feelings he has for Pierce and Eden.

Even though this book is the fourth in the series it is not necessary to read the first three, this one can stand alone on its own. I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next one, I was a little disappointed in the ending but I know why Tawny Taylor wrote it the way she did, to give us a fifth edition I am sure.

All these ingredients are get viagra cheap slovak-republic.org blended in right combination in Spermac capsules and it offers the best treatment for ED. And the third was written by Virginia at Bitten By Books:

I love Ms. Taylor’s writing. It is very deeply sensual. I find myself drawn into each and every story and this one is no different. Each emotion that Kaden, Pierce and Eden feel seems to leap off the page.

Margo at The Romance Studio gave it 5 out of 5:

This story is filled with so many emotions from these characters and their troubles made this book truly heart wrenching at times. But their intense passions and needs made this book an excellent read.

And finally, WitchGiggles reviewed it for alternative-read.com

Sometimes I would love to be a fly on the wall and watch these books get written. Ms. Taylor has written a tale of intense men dealing with the genetics of their race, some pretty incredible sex involving an astute woman and a plot-line that throws a curve or two just to keep you guessing to the end. A pretty good read to keep on your bookshelf.
